My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Emma Lou, and as my name would suggest, I am a gentle southern belle. I feel bad for my owner, because she really did love me and I loved her too. Sadly, she had to give me up when she went into an assisted living facility and so now I’m in foster care looking for a new owner to love. My greatest joy is to cuddle up to my person, give them tiny little kisses, and have my belly rubbed. I may be 10, but I am as healthy as the younger dog and cat fur kids of my foster parents. I am a quiet lady, but I do tend to get a bit boisterous when dinner is served…I do love my food! I like to sleep next to the bed and nap close by the computer when my foster parents are there. I don’t make messes, and wouldn’t mind sharing the couch for a nice nap, but I’m not comfortable getting up on the furniture (it was against the rules when I was growing up) and it’s a bit far from the ground for me to jump for someone of my dignified age. I love to go for walks when it’s cool outside, and go for car rides (especially to go get ice cream)! Wouldn’t you like to come home to a smiling southern belle? I’m ready for you! My adoption fee is only $100
