Annie's Story...
Annie is a 10 year old female, spayed shih tzu. She is initially timid around people, but loves other little dogs. She does not like to ride in the car. She only has 3 teeth in her mouth so needs to have her food softened, but other than that she does great. She likes to sleep in her crate at night. She is looking for a patient, loving owner who has the time and energy to win her trust and provide her a loving life. She is also looking for another small sweet doggy buddy. For more information on this darling little girl please contact us today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Denver Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
