Zoey's Story...
Zoey is a tiny girl who appears to be a cross of a Chihuahua and a Dachshund. I affectionately call her a "chi-weenie". She is very scared right now because of what she's been through. She is also heartworm positive. She will have to be treated before she can be adopted. We are doing fundraising to help with the expensive treatment needed to save her life. Then she will be ready for her new home.

If you are interested in adopting her, please email for an application. Her adoption fee will be $290. She will be treated for her life-threatening disease, up to date on shots and Bordatella, spayed and micro chipped. References will be required. A deposit will be requested to hold her. If you would like to donate to her medical care, please email. This precious little girl deserves a chance at life. She is definitely worth it. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Westfield Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Westfield, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Westfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
