Ranger's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ranger's Story...
Ranger is a very friendly orange and white tabby male, born at the end of May , who is looking for a new forever home. He is one of a litter of 6 who were born in a lady's home in Moore. Ranger's mom was her personal cat. He loves to play hard, (see the attached video) then rest up by relaxing in a sunny window. Ranger gets along great with dogs and has a strong rumbling purr for everyone he meets. If you are looking for a social kitty who greets all your friends, follows you around the house and put his nose into everything you do, Ranger may be the cat for you!

All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).

Some of our cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the "Adopt" tab to see a list of those currently available in the PetSmart Adoption Center.

The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: pawsok@sbcglobal.net or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Oklahoma City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
