My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bugsy is another adorable little guy. He is friendly with everyone, loves attention and like most Beagle's he will make a wonderful family companion. Bugsy is just 7 months old and will need someone willing to continue his training. He weighs just 17lbs and shouldn't reach more than 20 as an adult.

Bugsy would be fine with children of any age. He is a puppy and will still need some supervision and should be crated while you are out until he can be fully trusted in the home. Puppies do like to chew and although Bugsy has not gotten into any trouble, you want to ensure his safety by making sure he doesn't have the opportunity to start chewing things he shouldn't.


Bugsy would be fine in an apartment but a home with even a small backyard would be best. With a fenced yard that he could run and play in he would be quite content. Of course he would still require a walk each day and opportunities to socialize with people and other dogs to make him a well rounded and confident pet.


Bugsy is an all around happy pup who would make an ideal companion. Alert, playful, curious and loving he would be a great child's companion and playmate. With continued socialization he should be no problem with other pets in the home. He does love other dogs and would be great as a second dog or as a single companion.
