IGGY's Story...
10/17/11 MEET IGGY. He is a handsome boy. He was abandoned at a Georgia truck stop and had been foraging for scraps for 5 days when his new foster family picked him up. Very sad that this teen pup had an owner that shouldn't have had an animal. Iggy is quite playful, gets along well with all of the dogs in foster care. Iggy is actively looking for his new forever home. Could he be waiting for you? EMAILS ONLY FOR IGGY

Why Adoption is a Great Option

IGGY, a West Palm Beach Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in West Palm Beach, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in West Palm Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Palm Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Palm Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Palm Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
