Ava's Story...
Meet Ava! She is 3 months old and absolutely beautiful. She is a brown dapple dachsund mix. Her mom was a dachsund that wandered onto a man's property and shortly after got pregnant. He has been looking for a good home for these babies, so we decided to help him out. Ava is a complete sweetheart and will bowl you over with puppy kisses. She has a lot of energy, and will have you cracking up all the time. She is super intelligent and incredibly alert like the rest of her siblings. I adore her and think that it would be hard for anyone not to love her. Please take a chance on Ava and give her a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ava, a Foster Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Foster, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
