My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maddie is a beautiful 5 yr old purebred yellow lab. She is a little on the heavy side weighing about 80lbs, but at the rate she loves to play fetch she’ll be slim and trim in no time. Maddie found herself in a high kill shelter and not surprisingly was becoming very depressed. Luckily one of our volunteers saw her and knew she had to get her out of there. She is now in a foster family with three other canine companions and a 3yr old little girl. Her foster family absolutely adores her and can’t believe what a great girl she is. She is calm, sweet, lovable and eager to please. Maddie is housebroken and has great house manners. She walks around the house with a ball in her mouth at most times ready to play fetch. She will chase the ball outside for hours on end and each time after retrieving it she will bring it back and drop it right at your feet. She also takes treats nicely and doesn’t bark when her canine brothers do. Maddie will make a great addition to any family who is willing to give her the love and exercise needed. She is not too fond of the kitties so a house without cats is preferred.
Maddie is spayed, heartworm negative, current on all vaccinations including rabies and micro chipped. She has also been on heartworm and flea preventative.
