Hi everyone, I'm Carly!
I'm about 2 years old and a solid girl at 65 lbs! No one knows what my breed mix is, maybe Boxer/Lab/Beagle/??? Take your best guess, I'll be anything you want! I love my red undertones and underbite, they make me unique so I'm not just another "Black Lab mix". I'm loving, loyal, happy and a social butterfly! I've gotten along with everyone I've met so far (this has not included very small children or cats).
I'm active and adventureous but one of those adventures didn't end so well. My friend Simon was with me (he's a shy fellow, Rottie mix) and we got stuck in a storm drain! It was wet, smelly and really dark down there! It took a really long time for animal control officers to figure out how to get us back up and then got passed over for adoption. Thankfully we made it to Happy Dogs Rescue through the KCK shelter's Ray of Hope program!
I harbor no grudges against anyone and am joyful everyday! Could you use a happy girl to cheer you up? I'd love to come home with you! I'm cratetrained and nearly housetrained already and I'm great at learning tricks! I already know sit and shake, what else would you like me to learn? Its easy to teach me and I want to learn! Carly is spayed, fully vaccinated (including bordetella and canine influenza), microchipped, de-wormed, fecal checked negative, heartworm tested negative, kept on monthly heartworm prevention and given seasonal flea/tick prevention.
