My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Jada is 2 years old and only 6 lbs! She loves to be cuddled and wants a warm lap to curl up on. She prefers to be held but does like to play (she is afraid of squeakies though).
She has been fostered with children ages 7 and up but seems nervous around younger children and would rather interact with adults. She has also been fostered with cats and been fine. She is good with most other dogs and seems to to have any concept of her own small size. She is not afraid to "sass" or act tough around much larger dogs.
She is cratetrained and housetrained, but she can't (yet) physically "hold it" for a full 8-9 hours required for a "normal" work day.
Jada was brought to us by a good samaritan who had found her malnourished, pregnant and in need of a dental and antibiotics for her infected mouth. Jada gave birth to two healthy girls 6/29 (already adopted); she has had the needed antibiotics and a full dental cleaning with extractions. She weighs more now than she did pregnant but could/should probably gain a little but more. Jada has also been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, fecal checked negative, heartworm tested negative, kept on heartworm prevention and given seasonal flea/tick prevention.
Her adoption fee is 250.
Jada is available in the Kansas City and surrounding areas of NW Missouri and Eastern Kansas. A fully fenced yard is required or an approved alternative for safe outdoor time. If you do not have a fence, please outline your plan for safe outdoor time in your intial email.
