Enzo's Story...
Enzo's adoption fee is $325.

Hey there – I’m Enzo! I’m a 1 year old Chihuahua/Pekinese mix (or that’s what we think I am!) and I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines and have been micro chipped. I weigh about 9 pounds. I’m a smart, cuddly, happy-go-lucky little guy, and a great little dog. I’m very calm but love to bark when I meet people and when someone comes to the door. My foster mom has been using a spray bottle to teach me that I don’t need to bark too much; I am learning, but will need to keep working on this. I also need to work some more on my house training, and with patience and consistency it should get better – I am a very bright little guy and a quick learner.

I enjoy the other dogs and cats in my foster home and love to play with them, but can be a bit uptight when I first meet other dogs; I probably didn’t meet a lot of them before I went into my foster home. I’m fine once I get to know them and love to play with both little and bigger dogs and I like cats too. I am just a cuddle-bug and really enjoy spending time curled up with my people or hanging out with my furry playmates.

If you think I’d be the fun companion that you’ve been looking for, send Tiny Paws a note – I’d love to hear from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Enzo, a Toronto Chihuahua/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pekingese for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pekingese breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
