Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greetings! My name is Sabre (pronounced sey-ber).
I'm 6-7 years old and was rescued from a puppy mill November 2010. I'm really glad to be out of there! I had a really small pen I had to share with my "mate" and all of our (half grown) puppies (that pen was really only big enough for one dog!) and the flies were eating the tips of my ears. That's why one looks smaller than the other.
I really love the attention I get from people now! I enjoy being petted and loved on. I have a really laid-back temperment and have been good with kids over 5.
I'm good with most other dogs but I tend to prefer large females as playmates. I really love to romp in the yard. Long walks are great, especially in the cooler weather and I walk really nicely on a leash- no pulling from me.
I'm cratetrained and working on my housetraining. I'm a guy who really appreciates the air conditioning and a soft place to sleep. I'm ready to be a loyal and loving member of a family.
Sabre is neutered, fully vaccinated (including bordetella and canine influenza) microchipped, de-wormed, fecal checked negative, heartworm tested negative, kept on monthly heartworm prevention and given seasonal flea/tick prevention.
His adoption fee is 250.
