Moki's Story...
Hi, my name is Moki. I am almost 1 year old and I have just been neutered. I was found as a stray a few months ago by a nice woman who brought me to VPAS. I haven't spent too much time around people up to now so I am a little shy and I take some time to get used to new faces, but I am very cuddly. I spend most of my days here at VPAS cuddling with staff. Everyone loves me and the staff would all like me to find a good home. I get along well with other animals, but because I am shy I would prefer a home without very young children. For more information about me please come to VPAS and say hi.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moki, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
