My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you the one for Daisy? Daisy is THE cutest little 9 yr old Min Pin. Just one look and you can't help but fall in love! Her pictures do not do her justice! She was rescued from a local animal shelter where she came in as a stray and no one came to claim her. We cannot imagine why as she is just such a wonderful little dog! She is sweet and loving and comical! She weighs just 10 lbs. She is a typical Min Pin and she loves to snuggle! She is fine with other mellow dogs but doesn't like it when the youngsters get in her face. She is housetrained and crate trained. Daisy doesn't even mind cats! Daisy was just recently diagnosed with Diabetes (she had perfect bloodwork only a few months ago) . And shortly after, went blind. She is adjusting very well to her situation (takes her insulin shots like a champ and still manages to jump up to her favorite spot on the couch) and remains as sweet as ever. Foster care really doesn't meet Daisy's needs and she really wants her own home. Diabetes and blindness make Daisy a special needs dog and she needs a home willing to see that she gets all the love and care that she deserves. Are you that special home Daisy seeks? We thought we had finally found Daisy the perfect home. Everything seemed just right... how wrong we were and so unfair to darling Daisy! They returned her less than 48 hrs after taking her home. Why? you might ask. Well, it turns out that this sweet little BLIND dog was growling at the other dogs in the house - new strange dogs - when they would get in her face. Shocker, right? These people didn't even give sweet Daisy a chance. Please help us find Daisy that perfect home! Is there really no home for sweet Daisy??? After a year in foster care, all she wants is her very own home. Her diabetes is managed for less than $15 a month - seriously! If you think you might be the 'one' Daisy needs, please contact wittle13@yahoo.com. If you can't adopt but would like to donate to Daisy's care, please let us know as well .** LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE
