I am one lucky little girl. I, along with my siblings, were rescued by some really nice ladies after we were dumped at Betty Virginia Park on 10/26/11, during the Pumpkin Shine event. All of us have found homes, but me. The nice ladies took us all to the vet for shots and deworming. We are very healthy now. I’m a sweet and submissive girl that will make any family a wonderful life-long pet. I’ll likely be medium sized when I grow all up. If you’d like to meet me, please call Kathy at 318-990-6224. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home. Once you adopt me, PLEASE get me spayed/neutered to help control the HUGE overpopulation and euthanasia rate in this area. Robinson’s Rescue low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Shreveport) offers special low-cost pricing for spaying and neutering. Call 318-861-0101 for your spay/neuter appointment ONLY, not about me! Also, be sure to keep me on a monthly heartworm preventive. Dogs get heartworms from mosquitoes and the only way to protect me is with a monthly preventive that you get from your vet!
