My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meg is a 1 year old golden mix with the cutest white freckles on her face! She has the softest golden coat with a few white patches on her feet and a white tipped tail! She's a very petite girl who could stand to shed a few pounds. This should be easy since she loves her daily walks!

Meg has two favorite things to do: snuggle and take walks! From her first night with us, she decided the bed, couch, and chair were her's (but she's happy to share them with you!) She politely gets off when we tell her to but happily jumps back up. I'm pretty sure she thinks dog beds are for dogs...and she doesn't quite realize she's a dog!

Meg is getting along wonderfully with her canine foster siblings and the resident cat (whom Meg has completely ignored since their initial meeting, much to our cat's delight). Meg loves our 3 year old son but gives him plenty of space when he wants that. She will make a wonderful family dog for any age children.

We do crate Meg when we are gone and she doesn't seem to mind this. We haven't had a chance to see how she does with free roam but when we are home, she has great house manners!

Meg is treat motived and already knows how to sit on command. She's not too interested in toys but will chase the ball once in a while.

If you are looking for a family friendly, snuggle loving dog, look no further!
