My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie was abandoned, too young and already pregnant, at a horse farm where "pet cats" don't fare very well against the owls and foxes. So we accepted her and the vet said she was due to deliver at any time. However, when she finally had the kittens, not only did they all die, but she because desperately ill with a uterine infection and nearly died, costing over a thousand dollars in emergency vet bills. She was sick for a long time but finally started to improve and got her shots and spay completed. Now she's a frisky, sassy, playful, mischevious gal going through her 2nd kittenhood! She's a bit sassy for toddlers, because she doesn't put up with any rough treatment and is very headstrong -- if we swat a newspaper at her, she swats right back. She'd do best as an only cat unless it's a cat who's very self-assured and won't put up with her pushiness and diva attitude. She LOVES her carpeted climber and now, the electric blanket!
