Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Hunter! I am a 3 year old pure bred English Setter. I was surrendered by my owner to a high kill shelter because he "had too many hunting dogs".It is truly a shame that I have been his dog for three years and mean so little to him. I am a little thin right now and need to gain about ten pounds, but am otherwise healthy. I am used to hunting and being an outdoor dog, so my new home will need to be patient with me while I learn how to be an indoor dog.
I seem to be fine with other dogs, travel well, seem fine in a crate, and am ready to find my FORever home. All of my vaccine history is available to my adopter. If you are interested in a dog with great potential, please apply to adopt Hunter! Our adoption fee includes all vetting, microchip, health certificate and USDA certified transport to your area. We are a non profit organization and adoptions are considered charitable contributions on your income taxes. If you are interested in this guy, please request an application at forrescuetn@gmail.com
