SKYE's Story...
Hi My name is Skye! The vet thinks that I am an austrailian shepherd mixed with a spaniel. I am a very sweet puppy, very affectionate and interested in people. I do not have a tail ( as is common for australian sheherds). I am going to be available mid November. I have been in a foster home with other dogs and a cat and seem fine with all. I am less than 6 months old and am ready to find my FORever home. I will go quickly, so apply to adopt me soon! Our adoption fee includes all vetting, microchip, health certificate and USDA certified transport to your area. We are a non profit organization and adoptions are considered charitable contributions on your income taxes. If you are interested in this little girl, please request an application at forrescuetn@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SKYE, a Nanuet Australian Shepherd/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Nanuet, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Nanuet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanuet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanuet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanuet paves the way for another one to be saved.
