Mayzie's Story...
Mayzie is a beautiful Pyr who arrived into rescue in terrible condition ~ Poor little Mayzie was so underweight and only weighed 5lbs when she arrived ~ She is a very social girl and just loves everyone in her foster home ~ She has been socialized in foster care with other dogs, cats, and kids during her stay and is doing incredibly well but would love a home to call her very own ~ She is up to date with vaccinations and has already been microchipped ~ Mayzie is about 19 weeks old now weighs 28lbs 14ozs! ~~ Experience with the breed and a physical fenced in yard will be a requirement for adoption~

~~~Please email rescue-me@earthlink.net to have application mailed to you to submit for possible approval ~~~
Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!
Why Adoption is a Great Option
Mayzie, a Milford Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Milford, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Milford.
  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
