Spook's Story...
Greetings Beagle Gremlins, Ghosts, and Goblins! My name is Spook and I'm a 9-year old stray who was lucky enough to get a Treat right before Halloween last year - the good folks of Arizona Beagle Rescue found me and saved me from any more loneliness on the streets of Mesa. Don't let my name spook you - I'm more scaredy-cat than scary! I'm a pretty mellow guy who just needs a loving family to reassure me that the world isn't such a scary place. I am a cute boy with a handsome face who is working on trimming down - you know how we beagles love our food! I love to go on walks, but need to work on my leash etiquette since I get excited and sometimes pull. My foster mom is also working on getting me used to car rides since they make me pretty nervous. I'm house-trained and even though I was frightened of the doggie door at first, I now love it, and can be trusted to have the run of the house when I'm left home alone! I'm great with kids and other dogs; in fact, I would probably prefer to be in a home with another dog. And I just love to be with my people - wherever my foster mom is, I can be found nearby - so I'd really do great in a home with someone around most of the day. I sure would like to meet you and your family so I can put a smile on your face - I can even be your trick-or-treat buddy since I'm all ready to go with my Underdog costume! After all it's the season of tricks and treats, righty-oh!
