My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie is a sweet girl looking for a new home. She will need a home with strong and consistent leadership. German Shepherds can be cautious when meeting new people and Ellie is no exception. Four year old Ellie needs to be introduced to people slowly and carefully so she has time to get used to them. Once she realizes they are okay, she is fine with them (she let the vet drain a sore on her paw with no muss nor fuss!). The same goes for dog / dog greetings -- slowly and carefully. Once she is comfortable, she enjoys their company. Ellie is enthusiastic about treats, so you can use that to your advantage in training! She loves to swim and run and play with toys and is quite the frisbee dog! And she does well traveling in the car. She is also great with grooming and has no problems with getting her baths and being brushed out! Ellis is looking for a home that can provide the leadership she needs to blossom and become secure and confident.
