Rascal!'s Story...
November 6, 2011

Meet our newest boy Rascal. Rascal is a 5 month old white Boxer. He was hit by a car and his family could not afford to pay for the surgery to fix his leg so they gave him up. Luckily his injury is not that serious and our vets tell us he is going to be as good as new after his surgery which he will be having on November 7th. Rascal is a sweet boy who is full of love. He has a wonderful temperament. Not too hyper but definitely all Boxer! Rascal will be going home with a vet to recover and be taken care of until we find his forever home. Stay tuned as we get to know this little Rascal! Whoever adopts Rascal will be required to take him to a puppy class and a beginner training class so he grows up with good Boxer manners and socialization skills. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal!, a Grafton Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Grafton, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Grafton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grafton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grafton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grafton paves the way for another one to be saved.
