Dozer's Info...

Dozer's Story...
Dozer never stops amazing me! Just when I think he’s a goof ball, he’s learning to follow commands like a champ. Given the command to “Stay,” he didn’t move for 30 minutes! This beautiful and soft cattle dog is sweet, sweet, sweet. He’s exceptionally well behaved in the house. Goes into his crate without complaint and will sleep the night away inside. He’s a bit of a prankster --- sometimes gently grabbing my pant leg for attention. Dozer loves to be brushed, walked, and petted. Great with kids (we recommend a home with kids 12 years and older), adults, other dogs, and cats, too. Great family dog! Email Michelle (cupertinocats@yahoo.com ) or Call her at 408-216-3887

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dozer, a Berkeley Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
