My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wendy!
Dog
Labrador Retriever Mix
Size: Medium-40 pounds
Age: Young
Gender: Female
ID:

Notes: Wendy was rescued from the Merced shelter and boy is she a happy girl! Notes from her foster mom below: Wendy is super sweet and affectionate, shes smart and really wants to please her humans. Shes housetrained and does well in the crate with encouragement. She has not chewed anything beyond the bones and toys. She also is a great running partner and with some exercise, attention and obedience training she will be great. At this point, coming from the shelter she was been cooped up to long without much attention so she can not help but get excited about going for a walk. I think she needs a home that will let her be active, either running her everyday or having some land so she can exercise. She would do well with a doggy friend too, who would chase her and play. I havent seen anything aggressive with the kids she meets on our walks, and even though she will jump on you when she excited shes pretty gentle about it. She also knows "sit" and "shake" and is quickly learning more fun stuff that she can show off!

She is a small girl, about 45 pounds, a great size for a family. She is strong and beautiful and would love an active family to love. Email: carrie.moore@comcast.net or fill out an application online and send it to Siar
