My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

'SARA' is under a year old, about 12 lbs and about 15-16 inches tall. We are guessing that Sara is a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. We are also guessing she has some Rat terrier or Jack Russell mixed in there. She has long delicate legs and is a beautiful mix. SARA WAS THROWN OUT OF A SPEEDING CAR ON A FREEWAY IN S. FL. The people who saw this happen were horrified and quickly pulled over and picked her up and rushed to the vet. Amazingly Sara was mostly uninjured, except for a few scrapes and she was absolutely scared to death and emaciated. Since she has been in the hands of these people who saved her and then with us in rescue she has gained some weight and is much happier, but still a very scared little girl. She loves other dogs and is not afraid to approach small or big dogs with her tail wagging. She is sweet and gentle, but will crouch down and crawl if you approach her to pick her up. She loves to be touched and held even though she is still very scared.
