BORN: Las Vegas, (traveled to Michigan where ended up being dumped 5 yrs later by a man in a relationship with original owner)

"Unofficial" VET STATEMENT: Healthy dog, may need up to date on vaccinations, fecal and heart worm test & formal exam, and update microchip information after adoption, no other health problems noted
ACTIVE and PLAYFUL: YES, loves people and toys, gets along with other dogs (who do not constantly get up in her face). Likes to run in a fenced in back yard, loves to play with a football and other toys in and outdoors. Loving and lap doggie type. Acts like a loving pup, appreciates anything you do for her. Super sweet mellow, and active & playful all rolled into one. She just needs a home. Would recommend a home that is semi active, and with no toddlers or very small children. Older kids ok.
This super sweet gal is awaiting adoption, and will need to be adopted or go to rescue by Thanksgiving, or she will have no where to go, as the local pound will euthanize her where she is at, and the lady holding her temporarily will be going out of town and she will have no where to go.
FROM HER TEMP FOSTER MOM: "Brook is a 5 year old tan & white female pitbull dog that was dropped off by her past owner to fend for herself. She is very sweet, spayed (never had pups), micro chipped, potty trained, takes directions (sit, drop it, stay, etc.) very well. She seems to adjust to the household routine just fine. She is good with larger dogs and children. Smaller dogs/puppies may bother her as they tend to get in her face & not leave her alone which she isn’t too fond of. She seems to be a loyal girl to her foster mom and gives kisses, loves to be petted, rubbed, and allowed to sit and lay with her person but will get in her cage when instructed. She is active, clean, loves to eat and have treats, and run around outside chasing balls. She's a big kisser too, when her little eyes look up at you, she starts licking you like crazy!"
