Toby's Info...

Toby's Story...
This little guy knows how to find a bargain! Toby was found in the parking lot of a Family Dollar. When he was found, he had mange but he’s fully recovered and has soft, beautiful fur. Toby is completely housetrained, loves people and other dogs. He is a super fast learner and is working on some tricks. He is great on a leash… a well mannered guy. He is a friendly guy and loves to be close to you – he will get in your lap even though he’s a bit big for that now! In fact, he would love to cuddle up with you and watch TV! Do you have space on your couch for Toby? How could you resist such a cute little guy!?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Houston Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
