Jack's Story...
This lanky, bouncy boy has been through the ringer! He was saved just in the nick of time from a NYC shelter and has recovered from non-contagious mange, canine influenza and ringworm. Despite these hardships, this 1 year old remains goofy and loveable! When he’s not investigating the yard, hard at play or running about, he sleeps curled up like a little baby deer. He will do anything for a treat so needless to say, Jack has mastered important basic commands. He loves being with people and will happily go wherever you go!

If you are interested in making Jack one of your family, our application to adopt can be found here:

www.rescue-a-bull.org/adoption

Our adoption fee for adults is $175 and puppies (6 months and younger) is $250. The adoption fee will be used to defray the costs associated with medical care for our dogs. All dogs in our care will receive spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), DHPP vaccines and microchipping before being placed in their approved adoptive homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a North Middletown Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in North Middletown, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in North Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
