WESTLEY's Story...
We welcome Westley to our rescue. He is so beautiful! He is black with a little bit of white on his chest. Westley is 9 and a half weeks old. He arrived weighing in at 11.5 pounds. Westley is fostered with children and another dog. He is getting along fine with them all. He is a playful sweet boy. He loves to give you plenty of kisses. He is exploring his foster home like a normal puppy. He LOVES to be held and snuggled too. He loves to meet new people! As we get to know this bundle of joy better, we will update this description. UPDATE: Wesley is a great pup! He is very affectionate, loves to play with the kids in the foster home. He is getting along very well with our 1 year old dog. He plays great with him, he does prefer to play with people. He loves running and chasing the leaves outside, then settles right down for a good nap. He is sleeping through the night. We are working on walking with a leash. When he is off the leash he stays close by. He is curious about his surroundings whether inside or outside, but always looks to be near a person. He is going on the paper every time when he does not get outdoors in time. However, he is getting good at giving the clues that he needs to go out. UPDATE: Westley is doing great. No accidents inside, he cries by the door when he wants to go out. It is amazing, he is really smart. He is also walking on the leash. He discovered our cat yesterday, he wanted to play with someone his own size. He is well behaved when in the crate. He doesnt bark or whine. UPDATE: He is a very well behaved pup. Doing great on the leash, he is walking around the neighborhood now. He does stay in the yard and close by people when he is off the leash. He sleeps great and eats well, He loves to play with his stuffed toy and is starting to play with a ball. If you are interested in adopting, please complete and submit an application.

This animal is currently fostered in a private home. Our rescue is 100% foster home based. We do not have a shelter or kennel. They are cared for by a loving family until adopted. Each pup has had their first vet exam, a shot, and de-worming, etc We make sure they have no fleas prior to going into our foster homes. They are fostered out of the shelter at least two weeks or more prior to adopting to monitor health. We take their care seriously!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WESTLEY, a West Milford Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
