Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*******IMPORTANT****** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR DOGS PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Bob is a 3 year old male. He was picked up as a stray by animal control in south Georgia. By all appearances, Bob had beens tray for quite some time. He is emaciated, heartworm positive and suffering from a skin infection. He was so emaciated that at the time of rescue he was literally a "bag of bones" with absolutely no fat left and began digesting muscle to keep himself alive. He was literally days from death.
He is now being cared for at our vets, in isolation from a shelter acquired respiratory infection. After treatment of the skin and lung infections, he will be transferred to a foster home for weight gain. After he has gained sufficient weight, we can address his heartworm positive status.
Bob is up to date on shots.
He has very sweet eyes and an equally sweet disposition. We can't weight for him to begin the journey to the rest of his pampered life. Bob will require alot of vet care in the coming months. We do not anticipate he will be available for adoption for a few months and his vet bills are already staggering. Please consider donating for his continued vet care by wisiting our website, www.georgiaenglishbulldogrescue.org and click on any of the "DONATE" buttons or the donate button below. Thank you!
