My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We named him soldier because we found him on Veteran's Day.
He is beautiful, charming, intelligent and the most gentle soul I have met.
He crossed a major intersection and was almost hit by several cars before I was able to catch him.
When I called him, he ran over to me and laid down on his back as if it say, "I surrender. Please help."
He was starving and filthy.
He is house-trained and great with all people and other animals.
I currently have him with some 10 week old pups in my garage and he couldn't be sweeter or gentler with them - even with them teething on his ears and tail!
We desperately need a home or foster for him as we still have these pups we need homes for as well as a huge rescue of 41 lab beagles coming in a few days.
Please spread the word. Thanks!

This is a photo when I just got him in my car and gave him a turkey roll! You cannot see in the photo, but the brown-ish eye is actually exactly half brown, half blue!
