Robin's Story...
Robin came from a farm where she was outside and had several litters of kittens until our rescue group was contacted for help because it was getting cold outside. Robin is a good cat with a cute little chirrup instead of a meow, just like her daughter, Crystal. Robin can be reluctant until she gets to know you, but she's a softy at heart. She's not too shy (not afraid of the vacuum cleaner which a plus). She loves lying in cat beds (a heated one in the winter), but not as much as she LOVES attention. She will chase away other cats if she thinks they'll get prevent her from getting some attention. She definitely likes being the queen bee. If her foster mom sits down, within seconds, Robin will hop up on her lap and sit happily and contentedly....and doesn't want to leave. She is very much a velcro kitty. At night, she likes to sleep snuggled up closely to "her person". She also now loves being picked up. She will cuddle into her foster mom's arms and start purring immediately. Robin adores being petted and will sit in your lap once she finds out you're okay. She will also play if someone gets out a wand toy or the bird on a wire which is a favorite toy. Now that it's warm, Robin enjoys lying in the windowsills. Once her trust is gained, you will see her friendly, funny, quirky personality and she will be your biggest fan. Robin would be a wonderful cat on her own, preferably with someone who knows cats and has experience with them. She has a lot of love to give and just needs the stability and security of a permanent home with her person and for that person, it will be a very rewarding experience. Robin is very affectionate loving cat and her foster mom doesn't have the time to give her the attention she craves.
