My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful girl is a poster dog for rescue. She was born outside with nothing for shelter but a leen-to .She developed a staph infection at 7 weeks of age. At that time the owner gave her to our rescue and told us he did not care what we did with her. We rushed her to the vet where she was diagnosed with mirsa, a severe staph infection. she was treated , but the doctor told us not to expect her to make it thru the night. Well she did, we got her healthy and adopted out and lo and behold , she found her forever loving home. This only happens in fairy tails and very seldom in the state of Missouri (misery). If you have a dog in this state , and it is not perfect, you dump it. This is the mentality of way too many people in this area. Then you just go and get another dog.Do I sound bitter? I am. We ask on our adoption form,Is this a lifetime commitment?. The answer is always YES! Now Freya has been peeing in the house since the day she was adopted. Did they contact the rescue and ask for help? No, just a "you have to come and get this dog now, or we will take her to a kill shelter".Of course , they have only had the problem for 6 months. Freya is still a great dog and just needs love and comittment. Her adoption fee is $250.00 and includes all shots and spay. Please RECUE Freya. She is being fostered in Mo. But transport is available to the New England Area For $125.0please call Jan 314-605-1497
