Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birthdate: 11/7/07
Gender: Female, spayed
Breed: Purebred longhair chihuahua
Bridget is not a dog, and she wants everyone to know that upfront. She is in fact a beautiful little baby girl who wants and deserves to be loved and spoiled by her Mommy and Daddy. She wants to be carried around, and watch TV, and sleep in bed under the comfy covers just like any other kid.
Poor little Bridget lost her Mommy a few days ago after four wonderful years of being pampered. Her Mommy was quite elderly, but Bridget thought she would be around forever. But that just wasn’t meant to be, and one day, she left Bridget and her two sisters all alone.
She thought maybe she would go to live with her Mommy’s family, but they didn’t want her or her sisters. Instead, they left the girls with a neighbor and said they would be back in the morning to take the trio to the pound.
Not the pound!
Thankfully, the neighbor contacted a friend who then got in touch with us here at New Lease on Life, and we took in these little girls, promising to find them new families who would love them just as much as their Mommy did.
Now, Bridget’s two sisters have found new homes, and Bridget is all alone. Her foster mommy is keeping her company and snuggling her every day, but she really wants to find her real family who will love her forever.
Bridget is a purebred Longhaired Chihuahua. She is full grown at 8 pounds, although she really should weigh closer to 5 pounds. She’s a bit of a chubby girl, but don’t tell her we said that!
Bridget is excellent with her potty training. She goes outside like a good girl. She even gets along with other dogs and kitty cats. All she asks is that she gets her fair share of attention. Right now, she’s sharing her foster home with four other dogs, all much bigger than her, and one frisky ferret, plus one human child.
Would you like to be Bridget’s new Mommy or Daddy? She is waiting for you in foster care. Just call 330–397–8270 to schedule an appt to meet her at the shelter. She is already spayed, heartworm tested (negative) and on preventative, fully vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated, so she is ready to join your family.
