Polly's Story...
Polly is an incredibley sweet Plott hound mix, that is just 6 months old. Someone was very mean to her as she would only crawl on her belly when her and her sister were found. She is extremely sweet-natured and wants very much to be loved on by their foster parents. she gets along well with other dogs and seems to be enjoying life as she realizes that most people are kind. Does she look like she could be a member of your family? She will make a wonderful pet. Her color is a beautiful light golden brindle. She is a real beauty. This dog cannot be adopted to Massachusetts residents per their pet import/quarantine regulations. Please click on to this link to find out more on adopting this dog. <

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polly, a Westerly Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Westerly, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Westerly.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westerly already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westerly breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westerly paves the way for another one to be saved.
