Darla's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Darla's Story...
Darla is a 6-month-old Schipperke. She is full of energy and loves to play. Darla is full grown and weighs less than 10 pounds. Make sure you research this breed. Schipperke's are known to be stubborn and mischevious. This little girl likes to dig and will need a well-secured fenced yard to play in. These dogs tend to live to be 17-18 years old and are often called a "little black fox." Darla needs an experienced adopter. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $66.00.

Come visit her at Animal Control, 2626 Holly Road, Tues-Friday 1-6 and Saturday 1-5:30 p.m. You can call 361-855-7387 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Corpus Christi Schipperke dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Schipperke dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke breeders who help with Schipperke rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
