My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady (female) PUG/COCKER MIX – FULLY VETTED – HOUSE AND CRATE TRAINED – RESCUED

I found this sweet little girl running down Kings Hwy. very scared, hungry, dirty, full of fleas, and exhausted. I took her home and gave her a meal, a bath, a flea pill and watched her sleep for 8 hours straight. When she woke up her personality started coming through and she was all about running around the yard and chasing squirrels. I found a short-term foster home for her and she has since been spayed and vetted.

We have named her Lady, but she will answer to any loving name. She is an adorable pug/cocker mix of some sort, with a spunky attitude and loves to play and run and go for walks. She is house trained. Lady is a very active dog and needs exercise and attention. She loves to snuggle and lay on the couch and bed but is also crate trained. She loves children. I do not know how she gets along with other dogs or cats as her foster mom does not have either, but the grandchildren love her.

Lady is too busy and active for her foster mother to keep much longer so please cross post to everyone you know who might foster her but more importantly want to make her an addition to their family and give her a forever home. If you would like to apply and be approved to adopt Lady, please contact me for an adoption application – there will be reference checks and a home visit. There will be an $80 adoption fee which will go towards paying her vet bill. Call Jill at 318 – 272 – 6254
