My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lobo is a very mellow black and white male smooth coated BC mix, possibly with Mc Nab weighing in at about 45 lbs. His temperament can be characterized as gentle, sweet, and friendly. Lobo came to us via the Merced shelter with a bad case of flea allergy dermatitis that is all now resolved. His coat has grown back and is getting back its luster. Lobo is a smart boy as he knows all the basic obedience commands, and he knows some cool tricks, too!. He is wonderful on a leash and enjoys long walks. Lobo has nice house manners as he is house trained and fully crate trained. In fact, if he has access to his crate you will find him choosing to take a nap in it. Lobo adores human interaction, is well socialized, and loves to be with you. He will even lay down behind you, when doing dishes. He is the perfect house dog!!! He gets along well with other dogs, however, NO CATS! It is also best to keep him away from any small critters like guinea pigs, due to his strong prey drive. He enjoys being approached by strangers for a gentle pet and is good with children. Lobo loves to go on car rides, as he will jump right in, settle down, and then falls asleep. His forever home must have at least a 6 foot fence since he has shown he can easily clear anything less than that. Lobo would make a great family companion to your household.
