My story

Meet Oso This is one sweet 7 yr old boy. He is housebroken and has no bad habits! This little guy would be a great addition to the right family. This precious boy was attacked, and almost killed, by a dog who dug under the fence. Oso suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Dr D for care. Oso's owner relinquished him to us and we started caring for his special needs. After many months of TLC by Dr D and I, he is now a healthy and Happy little 6 lb, 7 yo Long Haired Chihuahua who is looking for the right match in a new family. Due to his small size we feel he would do well in a family with children older than the age of 10. This little boy's adoption donation is only $300, and this will help to defray his vet care, microchip and registration, vaccines, heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention as he was found to be allergic to fleas. If you feel you may be the right match for this precious little boy, please submit the adoption application from our web site. www.pekesandpals.org. All of our rescued pets are in Private homes and cannot be viewed until an Approved Adoption Application is on file, and the home visit is done. Once your Adoption Application is approved, you will be invited to a "Meet & Greet" to see which dog shows a desire to bond with you. With our Organization, it is the dog who makes the Final choice in a new family, not us.
