Twister's Story...
Hi, my name is Twister. I am a shorthaired female tortie. I don't have too many markings all over but I have a very cool stripe on top of my head - very unique looking and very pretty! I am a little more serious than some of my sisters and I am the biggest one in the litter. Don't you worry, though, I know how to play with catnip mice and chase the laser like a champ! I would love to have a home of my own, maybe even with one of my sisters so I'll always have a companion. I am used to having big dogs around, so if you already have one, I'll fit right in. If you're looking for a great little kitten, that's me!

Twister's date of birth is 8/29/11 and her adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia test, FIV test, distemper combo vaccination, deworming, microchip and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twister, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
