Hi! My name is Atom! I am a 6 month old Chihuahua mix. I am a tiny 5 pounds! I’m so grateful to have found safety in rescue. In my short little life I’ve had it rough. I was abandoned and left alone to fend for myself. When you’re only 5 pounds this is quite an endeavor! Boy was I scared! I thank my lucky stars every day that I was rescued! I’ve been told that there is a special family out there just for me. I sure hope they’re right! Let me tell you a little bit about myself! I am shy and friendly all at the same time! I can be a little bit reserved and shy when first meeting people but that quickly passes after a minute or two. Once I have time to warm up I will really put on a show! I will get excited and bounce around like a bunny! I just can’t help myself! I am that happy! I love other dogs and get along great with them. Because I am so small, I would do best with dogs that are my size. I am a cat friendly too. I love children but would do best with older kids because I am such a small pup. I am very affectionate and love snuggling in close to you. I am your stereotypical lap dog! People say I am as sweet as can be! I have so much love to offer! All that I need is a family that will love me back! Could that be you? I am healthy and current on all vaccinations. I have been neutered and also have a microchip.
