Amber Rose is a very sweet, small, but presently a bit chubby female dachshund. Amber Rose has obviously had a few litters of puppies, but she has been recently spayed and her puppy-raising days are now behind her. She was abandoned in a parking lot along with a 2-year old black and tan male we think was one of her puppies. Her puppy has already been adopted by his forever family.
Amber Rose is about 8 years old and is a real sweetheart. She has a very waggy tail, and bounces on her front feet when she is excited. It's very cute. She really likes to be with her people and will follow you all around the house. When you sit down, her favorite place to be is snuggled on your lap and she will come to you and put her front paws on your leg, asking to be picked up.
Amber Rose is up to date on her vaccinations and has just had a full dental, so her little teeth are all pearly white. She is house trained, walks nicely on a leash and gets along very well with the other Dachshunds in her foster home. Amber Rose has very good doggie manners. We often find them all together in a single dog bed.
Amber Rose really wants to find her own forever family. We think Amber Rose will do best in a family where there is someone home a lot of the time. She is fine with children, but as with all dogs, younger children should be closely supervised. If you have a place in your heart and home for Amber Rose, she will give you her all her love and affection.
