Spirit's Story...
Entered 10/6/2011

Meet Spirit. He came to us from an area shelter with his sister Happy. Spirit is 4 1/2 months old pup looking to find a family to love and a yard to play in. He is growing like a weed and based on the size of his paws and his very young age, we are confident that he is still has some more growing to do. He has a super soft coat of fur that will keep you warm all winter long, just cuddle up! In spite of his size he is a very gentle boy who enjoys affection. If you have been looking for a big, soft, loyal friend for life, please call our center at 410-643-8700 or email us at info@arfusa.org for more information.

Spirit has been neutered, up-to-date on shots, and all ready to go!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spirit, a Chester Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chester, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chester paves the way for another one to be saved.
