Malleus's Story...
My name is Malleus..I was rescued from the street in Tempe, AZ. A very kind young woman stopped her car and rescued me from running in the street. No owners were ever found. We don't really know what I may be mixed with?? I do have long legs so..either way I am all PUPPY!!! let's play!

I am however learning to sit for my treats and I am learning to be chill in my crate.

My new family should be one that is willing to play, train, provide me a lot of exercise and love me forever. I am approx 4 1/2 months old, and I am approx 55lbs. I am neutered, microchipped and I am current on my shots.

About Our Rescue Group...
Big Bully Rescue is a small organization and group of friends dedicated to rescuing and re-homing bully type breeds. We also strive to help these breeds obtain a positive image through education despite the image that the general public has of them do to misinformation and media sensationalism.

We advocate spay/neuter and responsible ownership, as well as battling backyard breeding, dog fighting, and inhumane treatment of these wonderful dogs. We advocate responsible dog ownership and compassion for bully type breeds.

Our dogs are rescued from the euthanasia lists from various shelters, or from the streets. We rarely take owner turn-ins. However, in certain circumstances acceptance of an owner turn in may be considered. We are willing to offer assistance and/or provide knowledge of what may happen to your bully breed should he/she be turned into the shelter.

The breeds we rescue:
American Bulldogs, Olde English Bulldogs, Presa Canarios, Pitbulls, Bullmastiffs, Cane Corsos, Dogo Argentinos and Dogue de Bordeauxs.
Although we are not a non-profit organization quite yet, we are in the process of becoming one in the year to follow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malleus, a Phoenix Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
