Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Puddles is about four, and around 16 pounds. He has those longer legs too so he is the size of a standard Dachshund and a bit broader. This is my professional guess, he is a Chiwiener. They told the family that he was a purebred. Not even close. ;-) I am not sure from his paperwork if he was a stray or an owner turn in. But I do know he is up to date on all his shots and we have given him his broad spectrum wormer so he can meet his new people at any time.
Spud or was a past abuse case but he is a charming fellow now that we have been working with him. Mud Pud would do well in an adult home and someone who wants a lap dog and someone who will tell him he is not the boss. He is a tad pushy so I told him he was not in charge here and of course he has settled right down into quite a happy dog here. Puddles will need to go with someone who will not let him run their home. That will make Pud happy and them happy too if the people are in charge and not a doggy.
He would do well in a more quiet setting although he really enjoys going for walks and likes our company as that might mean some more treats. So he will go to a home where they have some time to work with him to get him settled in. Once you earn this one's trust he is quite the ham with a sense of humor. Is that you?
