Vivienne's Story...
When a beautiful mother cat came in with her 6 babies, 3 boys and 3 girls, we couldn't resist naming them after Angelina Jolie's children! This little one was named after Angelina's youngest daughter, Vivienne, because she is the smallest and most delicate. Vivienne is a domestic shorthaired, brown makerel tabby born September 12, 2011 with fine, narrow rings running around her body (which almost gives the look of rabbit hair). Viv (as she is affectionately called by her foster family) enjoys being held and petted, and delights in playtime. She has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated (as much as age will allow), dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/Feluk. Call 507-451-4512 to meet this beauty. Vivienne's adoption fee is $150. (CE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vivienne, a Owatonna Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
