Gunner's Story...
Hi, there! My name is Gunner, and my family moved today and left me behind. I am 7 years old, neutered, and good with other dogs, kids, and cats, too. I was mainly an outside dog up until now....I've always heard other dogs talking about living inside with their people and would really like to give that a try! I promise to be a good boy and try really hard to please you. I am 80 pounds of teddy bear: big boys need love, too! So stop on in and see what I've got to offer you and your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Huntingdon Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Huntingdon, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Huntingdon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntingdon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntingdon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntingdon paves the way for another one to be saved.
