Here's what the humans have to say about me:
POLLY HAS A PENDING ADOPTION!
Polly is a three year old female Beagle, spayed and current on her vaccinations. She weighs 30 pounds which is just about right for her. There are pros and cons to owning a Beagle but thankfully the pros far outweigh the cons. Pros: They are a perfect size with a low-maintenance coat and a generally healthy breed known to be very good with children and other dogs. Cons: They sometimes love to eat and can become overweight quickly if not supervised. Beagles are hunting dogs and have a keen sense of smell. This can cause them to put nose to the ground, tail high in the air over their back, and take off after a scent. They need to learn their territory quickly and be taught to respond to commands from you. Polly is playful with other dogs once she gets to know them. She is often seen tossing her own ball around the backyard and daring another dog to try to get to it before she does. She is learning her crate and leash commands very well. Who can resist those big beautiful brown eyes?
