Xena--Pending!'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Xena--Pending!'s Story...
Xena is a 4-year-old spayed female Siberian Husky with a ton of personality! This is a lovely, sweet girl who got stuck with people that just discarded her on the streets of Detroit! Some other people helped her but couldn't keep her permanently. Xena can be dominant with other dogs so she would do best in a home as the only dog or in a home with a male dog that can handle her rough play. She is a very affectionate girl and will hold an entire conversation with you, as you can see in the video.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm preventative year-round, and microchipped for identification.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Xena--Pending!, a Belleville Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
